What are Gams?

Gams are a specialized type of sock - called compression socks - designed to gently hug and squeeze your calves all day long, helping to prevent leg swelling, achiness, fatigue, and varicose or spider veins. They are simple, sleek, and slimming, good for everyday use, hidden under work pants or scrubs.

What is compression and how is it measured?

Compression socks exert a light to medium squeeze on your calves, hence compression is measured in pressure.  Remember high-school chemistry? The periodic table?  Hg stands for Mercury, and mm stands for millimeters, so mmHg is actually “millimeters of mercury.”  All this is is a way to measure how much pressure compression socks exert on your legs.  Ours provide a continuous gentle pressure at the compression level of 15-20mmHg.  After you put our socks on, you’ll forget you’re wearing them until the end of the day, when you feel more energized and notice less leg swelling and fatigue.  We love how they feel.  Gams compression socks are perfect for everyday compression.

Everyone! Literally anyone can wear and benefit from Gams everyday compression socks.

What size am I?

Here’s our basic size chart. In general, if you prefer extra squeeze, size down. For standard everyday compression, follow the chart below. Gams are stretchy, but firm.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on all orders above $60 within the U.S. For all other orders, including international, shipping will be calculated during checkout.

Can I return/exchange my socks?

We want you to be 100% happy with your socks. You can return or exchange any product within 30 days of the shipping date. Return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund or exchange. Initiate a return/exchange here.

How do i take care of my socks?

We recommend treating your socks like your intimates. Hand wash in cold water or machine wash on delicate in a lingerie bag. Always line dry.

How do I put on compression socks?

Putting on your Gams is similar to putting on tights. Just scrunch up your socks and grab them by the foot. Slide your foot in and get your toes in place. Then, pull the sock up inch-by-inch until you reach just under your knees.
